Glasgow-based five-piece Shambolics have started to make a name for themselves in Scotland thanks to some energetic live shows and hook-laden singles. Their latest offering, ‘Living In Shadows’, starts life as a gentle, acoustic ballad before seamlessly morphing into an absolute anthem of a track that shines a light on mental health struggles. “It’s a song of hope for anyone going through a dark time,” they say. “After seeing friends struggle badly with mental health and having gone through a few bad patches in our own lives, we wanted to write a song that was a reminder to people that darkness is only temporary and that there’s always light at the end of the tunnel.” Their new EP, U Serious Boi?!, drops on April 14th, 2023. -Dan Peeke.
